Directions to Silkwerks building at 930 North 4th Street,
(corner of North 4th Street and Whitehall Street) in downtown
Allentown
From
Interstate 22:
- Take the 145/7th Street
MacArthur Road South exit.
- As you proceed south, MacArthur Road becomes 7th Street.
- Pass through 3 traffic lights (Fairmont Avenue, Jordan Parkway
and 6th Street/Mickley Road).
- The next light after 6th Street/Mickley Road is Greenleaf
Street.
- Turn left onto Greenleaf.
- Proceed through 1 traffic light (6th Street) and one stop
sign (5th Street).
- The next stop sign after 5th Street is 4th Street.
- Turn left onto 4th and proceed 1 block. SilkWerks
is located on your left, just past & across the street from the Exxon Station.
From West Allentown (surface streets):
- Proceed
north on 15th Street from Tilghman Street.
- Turn
right onto Sumner Avenue (just one block north of Tilghman).
- Go
through 2 traffic lights: 13th Street/Roth Avenue and 6th Street.
- After
6th Street intersection, the road curves.
- On
the right, just after the curve (but before the railroad overpass) is Penn Street.
(Penn Street is fairly hidden from view; it comes up quickly after the red and white Bryant Heating & Cooling Systems
sign.)
- Turn
right onto Penn Street and proceed 1 block.
- The
rear parking lot for SilkWerks is on your left.
- The main entrance is
located at the front of the building on 4th Street.
Parking:
- Free
parking is available 24 hours a day behind the building and along Whitehall Street.
- Please DO NOT park in the chiropractor's
lot across from the church. That is a private lot and absolutely no parking is allowed there at ANY time.
